This fall, we'll explore handbuilt forms, working the potter's wheel and surface decoration.  Personal expression will be encouraged through form, function, and surface. Management of clay forms will be guided throughout to deepen our understanding of the stages of clay. 
 
Advanced students may choose to work more independently with support and guidance where needed. 
 
This class is suitable for new beginners, clay curious & clay lovers alike to build on previous skills and fulfill your creative visions. Particpants will create an average of 4-10 finished pieces depending on skill and level of detail.
 
Class size is limited. We require a minimum of 6 participants to proceed. 
 
Fees: 
$420.00 + 54.60hst = $474.60

Use of underglazes, slips & glazes
Use of resist, wax, decorating materials
Use of molds, supports, boards, etc.
Use of tools and studio equipment
Instruction

1 bisque firing
1 glaze firing

Notepad, pen, pencil

Note: Only clays & materials provided, approved & tested by the studio are permitted.
 
Attendance:
This is an 6 week bundle of weekly classes. 
Missed classes are not refunded and are non-transferable. If there is another session running during the same semester with space permitting, missed class/es can be made up only then and need to be arranged with the studio in advance.
