Pot Your Heart Out!!
July 1rst-5th 2024 (5 days), 10-4
Open to all levels
Participants will learn to create and enhance forms such as bowls, drinking vessels and small plates. More advanced students will look at alterations, adding lids, spouts and throwing in multiple parts. Personal expression will be encouraged through form, function and surface. Management of clay forms will be highlighted throughout to deepen our understanding of the stages of clay.
More advanced participants are welcome to work more independently. Class sizes are small, lending more time for one on one instruction in a supportive and relaxed studio environment.
Together, we'll cover:
the properties and stages of working with clay
throwing various forms on the potter's wheel
individually advancing skill level from where you are in your clay journey
continued management of work throughout the process
tips, tricks and safe studio practices
harnessing the potter's wheel to build skills and consistency through repetition and practise
surface decorating techniques that can be applied at various stages of making
Pots will be ready for pick up or can be packed & shipped for an additional fee within 3 weeks of completion.

$575 + $50 material fee = $625 + $81.25 hst.

To regsiter, please send us an email of interest with your contact information and brief description of you current level of working in clay. Example: beginner, mid-beginner, intermediate, advanced etc.
